Welcome to the aquarium blog :D

There's not much here yet since I just started but since you're here allow me to yap. I'm starting a tank that will be dedicated to cool plants and even cooler neocardinia shrimps~ I want to have a diverse array of colors and share the love of shrimps to all. Since they populate like crazy I'm hoping to share the shrimp love in the way of selling some of the shrimp so I can pour more into the project and connect with other shrinmp lovers in my community. I'm also happy to announce I've decided to add Kuhli Loaches; they are super energetic and playful with such bright hues!~ Right now I'm just cycling this tank, I'm following a system of using peat soil for the substrate and a layer of small stones and hopefully some sand over that to allow the nitrogen cycle to clean the tank more itself. With enough plants it will stay clean no matter what. Ofc because of the dirt it's taking forever to freaking settle!!!! I have two sponge filters in there right now so hopefully that speeds up the process and I've added some duckweed and there's a cup of java moss floating around the top. Here's hoping I have more interesting pics to add soon and I'm out of dirt heck asap lol :p I'll create a new email soon in case people have any ideas or suggestions or I'll add a chat/comment section to this website.
